Apple Arcade: Every New Game Arriving in June

After Apple Arcade — a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick — added 20 new games at the beginning of May, the service is returning to releasing new games on a weekly basis in June.

Apple Arcade offers hundreds of games you can play for just $5 (£5, AU$8) a month. The service offers familiar and classic games, as well as exclusive titles. You can find many of these games in the regular App Store, but there they have paywalls and ads that might hinder your gaming experience. With an Apple Arcade subscription, you can play each game without paywalls or ads at no extra charge.

Here are the games coming to Apple Arcade in June.

Bold Moves Plus

Release date: June 9
Developer: Red Games

Bold Moves Plus combines match-three games, like Candy Crush, with word puzzle games to make a new challenge for players. As you match colors and collect tiles, you solve for inspirational and encouraging quotes that will surely deliver a daily dose of positivity.

Jet Dragon

Release date: June 16
Developer: Grezzo

Racing! Dragons! Racing dragons! Jet Dragon is billed as a fantasy racing game where you train and nurture dragons before taking to the skies and racing others. This sounds like a combination of the Pokemon and Gran Turismo games, and I’m here for it. 

Retro Bowl Plus

Release date: June 23
Developer: New Star Games

Apple Arcade is releasing two retro sports games on June 23. Retro Bowl Plus is a football game that tasks players with managing a team’s roster, handling press duties and wrestling with player egos, all in 16-bit glory.

Retro Goal Plus

Release date: June 23
Developer: New Star Games

The other retro sports game Apple Arcade is set to be released on June 23 is Retro Goal Plus. Another game rendered in 16-bit style, you can choose a team from the world’s favorite soccer competitions, like the World Cup, recruit players and leave it all out on the pitch. 

Millionaire Trivia: TV Game Plus

Release date: June 30
Developer: Uken Games

Test your trivia knowledge in this game based on the popular game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? If you get stuck on a question you can use lifelines to give you a boost. This game also features leaderboards and daily challenges.
